Remember this quote from Star Wars, "Do or do not there is no try," well we use to joke about that at a media animation startup I was a part of. The problem being that it runs that fallacy that the Star Wars trilogy runs of either or thinking.
"Either or thinking" from base philosophy or freshmen composition simply means that there is no grey area. Something is or is not. And life, simply is full of gray hues with a lot of color blinding a viewer from what is black as night and what is as clear as day.
